Before giving your assignment to a designer, it is important to be able to orientate him on what you want the final effect of your packaging to be.

 

- Range of colors

- What part of your product do you want visible.

- Exact dimensions of the package.

- If you have fonts that are corporate, give them in advance.

- Your logo.

- To prepare some texts that you want to be on the package.

- CorelDRAW Graphics Suite

- Adobe Illustrator

As projects it is good to meet these requirements:

• all fonts in the project must be converted to curves;

• color space – CMYK;

• additional colors such as Spot (Pantone), must be mentioned;

• RGB color mode is not allowed;

• raster images must have a resolution of 300dpi;

• if possible, provide a working file of the images (in PSD or TIF format);

• it is desirable to convert the transparent elements in the project into a bitmap with a resolution of 300dpi;

• logos and all objects must be in vector format;

•specify white backing in optional pantone, do not use trans white.
